Compensation & Growth PotentialIn addition to base salary, this role includes a performance-based incentive structure designed to reward growth and results. While individual earnings will vary based on performance, current average total compensation progression for successful team members in this role is:
- Year 1 Average Earnings: $65,000
- Year 2 Average Earnings: $110,000
- Year 3 Average Earnings: $165,000
This role is built for individuals who are competitive, driven, and motivated by long-term financial and career growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new client opportunities in the logistics and transportation sector
- Build and manage a strategic sales pipeline to drive business growth
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations using Excel and other tools
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer support, operations) to ensure alignment on client acquisition strategies
- Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes and outreach methods
- Promote exceptional customer service and foster long-term relationships with clients
Qualifications- 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition preferred
- Background in logistics, freight, supply chain, or transportation brokerage strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation, and lead generation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of using data to inform decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a goal-driven and adaptable mindset
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and collaborate across departments
